The Investment Management & Risk Analysis (IM&RA) department is responsible for the initial review and assessment of investment proposals. It sets the criteria for vetting and pre-qualification of Investors for meetings with Ministries, Directorate and Agencies (MDAs). One of the tasks carried out is the KYC (Know Your Customer) on Investors / Proponents of an Investment. The IM&RA department also works with various MDAs to identify key investment opportunities within Lagos State.
The Global Outreach & Partnership (GO&P) department is responsible for identification and promotion of genuine and specific foreign direct investment into the economy of Lagos state. These activities include investor targeting, coordination of investor and trade delegation visits to Lagos state, handling investor enquiries, liaising with embassies and high commissions, participation in trade fairs and exhibitions (local and foreign), publication of promotional materials, partnering with development agencies for social and economic development in Lagos, promotion of Inter- ECOWAS Commerce, promotion of exports of goods and services from Lagos state to other parts of the World
The Investor Relations & After Care department is primarily responsible for liaison with existing investors and providing after care services to them. The department aims at ensuring that existing investors continue to operate in a conducive environment leveraging on the ease of doing business in Lagos.
Service Delivery Unit (GD)
The Service Delivery Unit was created to monitor performance of all departments and units of the agency against set standards as enumerated in its service charter document and publish results once a year. Its services also include front desk coordination, identification of service gaps/failures and prof-erring of possible solutions after due consultation with Service Charter Committee.
